Special Preview: Driving the Doubts Away – an info comedy
2020–2023

What is the difference between high culture and low culture? Is the meatball Swedish? Do we share 98% of our genes with the pig? Was the Big Mac originally called the Aristocrat? Can a urinal seriously be art?

Olof Olsson drives a rollercoaster of comic infotainment. From silly lows to poetic highs, & back again.

Driving the Doubts Away is a prequel to the acclaimed Driving the Blues Away (2011–2020). See infocomedy.com for info.

Olof Olsson’s Dutch catholic mother and Swedish protestant agnostic social democrat father met on Mallorca. In his youth Olof made attempts in chemistry, photography, journalism and as a radio disc jockey. After having studied English, philosophy and translation theory in Lund, Olof went to art school in Stockholm and Copenhagen. In art, between 1992 and 2007, Olof worked with conceptual interventions. Since 2007 Olof performs info comedy – stage presentations combining the formats of lecture, comedy, melodrama and conceptual folk music. For the last 30 years, Olof has lived in the Danish capital of Copenhagen.
